Van 23 tot 25 mei zal in Rotterdam en Leiden de conferentie River Societies: Old Problems, New Solutions. A Comparative Reflection on the Rhine and the Yangtze Rivers georganiseerd worden. Een eerdere conferentie in 2017 met hetzelfde thema gaf veel stof tot discussie.
